This hilarious comedy is about middle aged Barney Cashman who has been faithfully married to his high school sweetheart but now thinks he wants to have one romantic fling before life passes him by. On three different afternoons , he sneaks three very different women ( all played by the same actress) into his mother's apartment while she is at the hospital doing work. Behind plentiful laughs is a tender portrayal of a decent fellow who just can't succeed at sinning. But you will fall off your seat laughing at his valiant efforts. Townships Heritage Tour
Oct 4th, 2012

Ticket availability: Tickets on sale now!

The Piggery is the first in a five-stop Townships heritage tour by singer-songwriter Matthew McCully. The tour aims to celebrate the vitality of Quebec’s communities outside Montreal, using music and artistic expression to showcase the richness and diversity of the region’s cultural and heritage buildings. McCully will bring his carefully crafted lyrics and powerful melodies to the stage along with Kate Morrison, twice recognized by Quebec’s Counsel of the Arts and Letters for her music. The two Bishop’s University alumni, who will share the stage for the first time, promise an eclectic musical mix that spans all genres appealing to old and young, French and English audiences. McCully’s original and cover songs are likened to Paul Simon and Ron Sexmith while Morrison is as comfortable with blues and country- rock as she is with more mellow folk tunes. Both artists have written and composed more than 50 original songs.
