Vintage Wine presents an all NEW evening of music from New Orleans. The musical gumbo of Louisiana, seasoned with infectious Caribbean-influenced rhythms, has many ingredients—jazz, blues, folk, gospel, Cajun, rhythm and blues, and rock and roll.
Artists covered include Louis Armstrong, Fats Domino, Jerry Lee Lewis, Mahalia Jackson, and Billie Holiday, plus songs that were done by the Beatles, Rolling Stones, Dave Clark Five, Eric Clapton, Bill Haley and his Comets, and Creedence Clearwater Revival that perhaps you didn't know originated in Louisiana. You'll hear songs such as See You Later Alligator, House of the Rising Sun, Chapel of Love, Time Is On My Side, Great Balls of Fire, Sea Cruise, Suzy Q, Walking to New Orleans, and Down By the Riverside.
